L'Anémone is our largest holiday home. Downstairs there is an open plan living space with lots of light, sliding doors leading out onto a terrace, a large dining table, a sitting area and a wood burner for the cooler months.
Eating out in one of the many restaurants in the area remains tempting – but a home-cooked meal is also easy to achieve. A gas barbecue is ready on the terrace, or you can cook in the fully equipped kitchen with, among other things:
• Oven and hob (Neff)
• Microwave
• Refrigerator with freezer compartment
• Dishwasher
The upper floors have three bedrooms. Two double bedrooms (one with queen-size bed) share a bathroom with walk-in shower and toilet.
The third (family) room is very spacious and with visible roof beams very atmospheric. This room has air conditioning, a double bed, two single beds, a private bathroom with walk-in shower and toilet, a sitting area, a small desk and a mini fridge.
There are two terraces: one in the morning sun with a large table and gas barbecue, the other catches the afternoon sun and is equipped with comfortable sun loungers. The pool is just behind the house.
All the gîtes at Domaine Le Jardin Des Amis in Meyrals share access to the heated, enclosed swimming pool (seasonal), the extensive grounds and the surrounding forest. Each property has its own atmosphere, charm and comfort – a place in the heart of the Périgord Noir where children can play freely and explore, while adults relax.
