L'Iris is a warm and charming Périgord cottage, a great base for exploring the area or unwinding by simply enjoying the peace and quiet.

The living area exudes authenticity: soft yellow natural stone, old beams and an inviting sitting area, equipped with a TV with French and English channels.

Eating out in one of the many restaurants in the area remains tempting – but a home-cooked meal is also easy to achieve. A gas barbecue is ready on the terrace, or you can cook in the fully equipped kitchen with, among other things:

• Microwave

• Refrigerator with freezer compartment

• Dishwasher

The bedroom with exposed oak beams is located on the first floor, here the air conditioning provides cooling on the hottest days. The shower and toilet are located in a separate closed space; the sink is, as is often the case with this type of old houses, in the bedroom itself.

Outside, under the wisteria, the private terrace with table and chairs offers a sheltered spot. A short path winds down to the pool.

All the gîtes at Domaine Le Jardin Des Amis in Meyrals share access to the heated, enclosed swimming pool (seasonal), the extensive grounds and the surrounding woodland. Each property has its own atmosphere, charm and comfort – a place in the heart of the Périgord Noir where children can play freely and explore, while adults relax.
